Product Description The Eclectrics Toaster from Hamilton Beach earned kudos in our Hug The Cook Test Kitchen, thanks to its steady performance and stylish good looks. This all-metal Toaster features wide slots that easily fit bagels, and has a handy bagel function that we found effective at toasting the cut side while keeping the crust soft and chewy. Other functions include defrost, cancel and reheat, which was handy for warming toasted bread without adding more color. Our testing staff also liked the slide-out crumb tray, which made cleanup easy.

Apple green toaster August 16, 2008 My sixteen year old grandson walked into my kitchen the other day and the first thing he said was, "Wow...what a cool toaster". I have been a designer for many years and I love the look of this product!! I also have the blender and both of these items have a modern yet traditional look. They are great art/accent pieces that actually work!
A disaster from start to finish! May 29, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I had to get two replacements for this toaster...one from the manufacturer, and one from Amazon...in less than a year! For an "all metal" toaster, it has many plastic parts, including the dial. An overpriced piece of junk..I finally returned it, bought a twenty dollar toaster and have not had any problems since!
honestly they just don't make'em like they used to... February 18, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
it's super cute, it doesn't get too hot on the outside, it does get my toast the right color... sort of. OK, a huge complaint i have with other new toasters, is that they simply don't TOAST bread on the first go. You have to toast it once, then toast it again. This one is pretty good at only needing one round of toasting.
That said, it is terribly uneven, at least by my 50s Toastmaster standards. But my Toastmaster couldn't handle bagels, and the timer was broken so you had to make sure you didn't forget you were using it. (this lead to many episodes of neighbors knocking on our doors to tell us there was a fire... no, just our shoddy toaster.) honestly i would prefer my old toaster but i couldn't find anyone who could fix it so i finally gave up and bought this HB one. and it's... OK. Not great, but better than most of the junkie toasters on the market these days.
Nice Sturdy Toaster January 17, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Toaster is much heavier than I thought it would be More of an industrial toaster which is great since I will not have to replace any more cheapos
Works Great Nice finish Slots are wide and the toast lift is made of solid metal wire not the punched thin steel you see on cheap models

We really like our new toaster. We got a black one and it looks sleek on our counter. It operates very smoothly and toasts the bread evenly on both sides. We're happy with our choice.
