If you've tripped over your hose one too many times, and you don't have room in your backyard for a freestanding cart, this wall-mount hose reel will get you organized while taking up very little space. It mounts directly to an exterior wall and can be placed at any height. The Easylink system reduces water leakage and holds up to 100 feet of hose easily. You can even remove the reel itself for winter storage. When hand-cranking, you'll have to guide the hose a bit with your free hand, but this reel does a good job of winding it up properly if you take your time. Mounting requires a few wall screws (not included), but the holes are easy to access if you remove the reel first.

works great. the only way to improve the reel would be to make the connecting hose to the faucet longer,

3 , all broken with in 1 year use each time. Do not buy this, cheap plastic will crack at the mount every time.

I bought a STA100 at True Value Hardware this morning. It ran $23.99 + tax = $25.50. (With a store buyers card). It's slightly different than the one I replaced, requiring me to drill 3 new holes. Not an issue with me. Like other reviews I've read, the round parts that are on either side of the wrapped hose were also warped. That means it came from the factory/shipper that way. There was no damage to the shipping box. Perhaps the heat from the sun will help straighten that out. I also read their 5 year warranty, which I doubt I would ever use. The defective one needs to be shipped back to the company at owners expense, they will fix or replace it, then you must pay for return shipping. That is NOT a good or reasonable warranty. Still, I'm satified with my purchase.

First off, the mounting hardware was totally inadequate, it just pulled out of the wall until I reinstalled with much bigger screws. The problem is a single screw at the top holds most of the weight. Once I got that fixed, the reel leaked some, which wasn't a big deal.
Then after only 3 months, the reel literally fell apart, the plastic breaking from the weight of the hose. The hose was 100 ft. 5/8 in., exactly what it is supposed to hold. The warranty only covers replacement, but why would I want another piece of junk?

It leaks at the O-rings whenever it experiences water pressure. It's a design flaw...it can't not leak.
