Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day Countertop Spray takes the basic formula of our All Purpose Cleaner and adds a special Vegetable Protein Extract, a naturally fresh way to remove odors. Great on all non-porous surfaces such as finished wood and tile floors, counter-tops, walls, porcelain, bathroom fixtures, sealed natural and synthetic stone, and more.
Just spray and wipe!
Making more Countertop Spray with your All Purpose Cleaner
When the bottle is empty, simly add four tablespoons of our All Purpose Cleaner to 1/2 bottle of water, then you're good to go. Easy and thrifty.
Can you use Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day Countertop Spray on wood floors?
Yes, you can use the Countertop Spray on wood floors as long as they are sealed with varnish, shellac or polyurethane. We do not recommend using our product on wood floors that are polished or buffed with a paste wax.
Can I use the Countertop Spray to clean marble and granite?
Make sure your granite and marble are sealed before you clean these surfaces. To find out, put a drop of water on the surface. If it beads up, it is sealed, and you can proceed as directed. If you do encounter a stain in marble, call our office, as we do have a poultice recipe to help you remove the stain.
What is the difference between the Countertop Spray and the All Purpose Cleaner?
The Countertop Spray is ready to use in a convenient bottle with trigger-spray pump. It also contains a natural vegetable protein extract that is great for masking odors in the kitchen and bath. The All Purpose Cleaner is a highly concentrated cleaner that needs to be diluted before using 1/4 cup to one gallon of warm water. The All Purpose Cleaner does not contain the Vegetable Protein Extract. Many of our customers use the All Purpose Cleaner (diluted) in the Countertop Spray bottle once it's empty because of the handy trigger sprayer.

RELAX and clean your kitchen! October 1, 2008
Mrs. Meyers has some fabulous products and the countertop spray works GREAT. It cleans thoroughly, leaves no residue and has a LOVELY scent that makes you feel as if you have truly refreshed your home.
Since it is better for the FAMILY and for the environment you can feel good about using it but not have to suffer for QUALITY. It truly works just as well, if not BETTER, than your average grocery store brands.
This LAVENDER scent is very natural and earthy and lingers leaving you with that CALMING effect that lavender provides...so relax while you tidy up and you will find yourself with a clean home and HAPPY soul.

I started buying Mrs. Myers from my local market, nice to see Amazon carrying them. This cleaner works very well, so well I've given up the bleach products I've used for decades.

Mrs. Meyer's Lavender Countertop Spray is a superlative household cleaner with the added bonus of a vegetable protein extract that eliminates odors naturally. I couldn't tell you exactly how it works -- but I can tell you just how effective it is: It's GREAT!
Not only does it clean very well, it leaves behind the fresh scent of lavender. It can be used on any non-porous surface. So, whatever dirt or odor is lingering on your floors (finished wood or tile), counters, bathroom fixtures, etc. will be instantly gone.
If you try this product you will be very well satisfied. I would definitely purchase it again!

I do not have the lavender scent, but I use the geranium daily. I have three small boys who keep our bathrooms in constant use-- anyone who has boys knows how hard it is to keep the toilet smelling "fresh as a daisy." This spray has such a lovely scent-- it's the only thing I have found that works to keep things smelling fresh all day. I have actually had friends comment on how good it smells.
