The natural canvas look of this laundry hamper allows it to fit unobtrusively into the corner of a bedroom or bathroom. When the two toggle buttons on the bottom are employed, the hamper lies flat for storage or shipping; when released, the hamper springs to its full 16-by-25-inch cylindrical shape. The neat thing about the lid is the zipper along one half. When zipped closed, a slit allows smaller items of clothing to be stuffed in. When unzipped, the flap folds back for admitting voluminous items such as sheets and allows contents to be easily scooped out. When the hamper is full, two cloth-tape handles along the side allow it to be conveniently carried to the laundry room. The handles are thoughtfully designed long enough for both to be held in one hand. Any dirt on the bag can be sponged off with a little soap and water. The natural canvas allows dirty laundry to 'breathe,' helping eliminate odor build-up. --Ann Bieri

This hamper is awesome. It holds a lot of clothes, I love the material (the mesh ones look so... cheap) and the way the top zips open for easy access in the laundry room, but has a slit in the top when it's zipped closed so it looks a lot neater than the ones that are just open on top. You won't have to shove this hamper in your closet to avoid looking like a slob!
My only complaint is the handles - they're just a MITE too short for it to be comfortably carried in an over-the-shoulder manner, and I have to carry this thing from my third-floor apartment to the basement where the laundry is. It's not impossible, but it's not as easy as my last one, which had these top handles and then a handle from the top to the bottom so you could sling it over your shoulder.

Holds a good deal and the handles make carrying up and downstairs much easier. Don't let them get wet, though, without quickly drying them: mold can set it.

This hamper is perfect for a dorm room; larger then what I expected, sturdy and easy to pack. Would recommend.

I bought this to store some "winter clothes" in. It really holds a lot. I thought that the top was a complete zipper closure but it isn't. It zips but its split on top so it doesn't seal out spiders . But I am still happy with the purchase.

This is the best hamper ever! It holds a ton of clothes and is still small enough to fit most anywhere...I have really narrow staircases in my house and I can fit up and down the steps with this basket, no problem! And the neutral off white color blends in to any room.
