 Great price and works well! November 29, 2008
After going through several Pur faucet filters that would unexpectedly spring a leak, I decided to give this Culligan a try and so far we love it!
Pros:
- Good price compared to Pur or Brita
- Filter automatically reverts to off position when water is turned off
- Very easy installation
- Filter is small and takes up less space around the sink
Cons:
- Does not have built-in indicator for filter replacements
To me, the taste has been fine - the water tastes like water, just as it should! Overall, very highly recommended!

I will never buy another Pur or Brita filter again! This was SO easy to install, and I have had no problems with it. The water tastes so pure and clean. That says a lot because the quality of water where I live is horrible. The ONLY downside to it is there is no filter life indicator, so you have to mark a date on your calendar so you know when to change it. It's very compact unlike the Pur and Brita it does not get in my way. And it's a fraction of the price!

Quick and easy to install, does not leak, does not break down after 4 months and has a good water filter, replacemen filters reasonably priced.
Have had many similar water filters but none have performed anywhere close to this. Most (i.e.,Britas barely even last four months). This Culligan leaves all competitors in the dust.

I thought I'd try this filter based on what others had said in these reviews. I was completely surprised and thrilled to find that this product met my expectations. I too have tried Brita and Pur with similar results to what others had mentioned here. The Culligan filter works as promised producing great tasting water at a price that fits my budget! No complaints!
