Great machine January 3, 2009 After having tried Senseo HD7832 Supreme Single-Serve Gourmet Coffeemaker with LCD Display, Silver and both the Breville and Keurig, Supreme models, I am thrilled to have finally found a great one cup coffeemaker. The coffee pods are cheaper than the K cups, but not only that, you can insert 2 pods for stronger or a larger cup of coffee.
With the K cups for the other machines, you use the same amount of grounds for the small to xlarge cup, and it's just too weak. I never thought that made sense. The Senseo also takes up less counter space and it works faster than advertised. Would I buy it again? Absolutely!
Great machine December 30, 2008 I have used Senseo for over 5 years. I pre-ordered this one years ago as soon as I saw the additional features. Great additions: An adjustable spout, larger water reserve and 3 level water choices combined with one or two cup option gives you several water levels. I grind my own beans, make cappuccinos and lattes. But when I want a delicious quick cup or I am serving guest I go Senseo.
Waste of money- go with the basic December 16, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
1) This product failed to work straight out of the box. 2) There was no t-pod holder for brewing tea even though that part should come standard with the Supreme. 3) The chrome finish looks like a do-it- yourself spray paint job over plastic 4) The adjustable spout is a joke since it only adjusts down not up vs. the basic model. 5) The LED display just states the obvious- wow, I am out water..really???
Bottomline save your money and get the basic model. I have a red one in my office that is still going strong after 3 years.
best at home coffee December 16, 2008 I love this coffee maker! One cup at a time and I can adjust the amount of water that passes through the coffee pod. There are several types of coffee, tea available and the pods can be purchased easily at Walmart, Target, online, or a grocery store. The frothy cap is great and if moe cups are needed the water heats and coffee 'drops' right away. This is a quick, tidy, and no waste way to enjoy coffee at home. My recent company went home and purchased their own machine.
Senseo Supreme Coffeemaker December 1, 2008 The box/container was in pretty bad shape, but the produt inside was in perfect condition. Shipping was a little slow, but not a problem. The unit works well, but Senseo's customer service is almost non-existant or difficult to locate on the web. Because of the poor on-line service for spare parts, etc. I will probably not purchase another Senseo. This is my third Senseo purchase, but my first Supreme model.
