When there's a pie in the oven and spaghetti boiling on the stovetop, this two-event timer tracks the cooking times for each dish independently so nothing overcooks. Each timer counts either up or down to 23 hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds and beeps at the end of each elapsed time setting. When the timer is not in use, the gadget operates as a digital clock, reporting the current time in hours, minutes, and seconds in either a 12- or 24-hour display. The LCD screen displays an easy-to-view 1-inch readout and the timer itself can mount to a magnetized surface, clip to clothing, or stand on a tabletop. The instrument is simple to set and has easily identifiable buttons for the clock function, each of the two timers, hours, minutes, seconds. Additionally, a start/stop button pauses and resumes countdowns midway through the scheduled time and stops the alarm at the end of set time period. The timer also has a recall button that, when pressed once, remembers the last recorded time frame and, when pressed twice, clears the memory for resetting. The first timer sent ws defective. Buttons T1 & T2 did not work. The second timer in replacement was also defective and was sent back. You were supposed to have credited my account. I'm not happy the way this was handled. Are these timers used? and is there any quality control?

Flimsy, weak, and not responsive March 7, 2008
Taylor made this product? I've used industrial taylor made products and home use products but, the quality of this is very cheaply made. Buttons are not responsive and even though that the buttons are jumbo size, you have to hit it in the right area for it to react. Played with it for 5 mins and 15 mins later it went back to the box and then shipped out.

This is second Taylor Timer we've gotten from Amazon. My wife uses this one now instead of the first one even though programming it is slightly more complicated than the old one (one more button click). She likes it. The real time clock is a nice addition. I am thinking of buying another for my convection oven in the basement.

I had bought a like timer last year. Knocked it on the floor, stepped on it inadvertently. First one broke...
I immediately started the replacement process. It's so versatile i can set it for up to 24 hours later.
Useful for taking pills at two different times. And for warning me time is coming up for favorite TV show...
Needs sharp mind to set it for both separate times. Worth the trouble of learning how.
Really helps avoid those "Senior Moments".
