terrible tea kettle January 8, 2009 This kettle is hard to use and the rubber does not help protect your hands from becoming burnt. It is cheap and terribly overpriced!
fantastic whistler January 8, 2009 I received my kettle today- well made- no leaking problem- can handle holding while pouring-just keep hand on the rubber handle
Thin metal & won't whistle December 26, 2008 First thing I noticed: compared to my old teakettle, which started to warp on the bottom after a decade of daily use, the metal is very thin. Then when I tried it out, it wouldn't whistle. Very disappointed.
Decent pot, but... December 16, 2008 I got the porcelain-on-steel teapot and only used it on medium heat. Within a couple of days, the porcelain began chipping off the bottom and a small spot on one of the sides. Not such a bad teapot per se, but that was a little disappointing.
The whistle isn't as loud as I would like, either, but I can still hear it fairly well.
Horrible quality, rust inside after 6 months December 13, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Horrible quality, rust inside after 6 months in the form of small "rust" bubbles, a few here and there. Not obvious, unless you look inside with a lamp, although looks great on the surface. Will try to return it.
