Perfect meat every time December 29, 2008 Great little thermo - I've used this for the past year and given several as gifts for the cooks in the family. It reads fast - easy to keep clean and very accurate. I know have gotten my wife to use it and now she doesn't cook chicken until it is a dry hunk anymore! yea!
So far, a disappointment December 20, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
The reviews of this meat thermometer made me think that this was exactly what I wanted - a thermometer that would quickly give me an accurate reading. I admit that I didn't test it before I tried it on some meat. I did as instructed and the temp. showed as way over what I wanted so I quickly took the meat out of the oven. However, the meat was just fine. (It had read the meat approximately 10 degrees too hot.) This happened twice before I went through the calibration process (testing it with ice water.) I was able to re-calibrate it within 2 tenths of a point. I will try it again the next time I have meat. Hopefully it will work as it was advertised or it will be useless to me.
I dont think so December 7, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
impossile to get a reading....
There is no way my steak is 350 degrees right now...
When it was 60 degrees outside, just having it turned on with no source of heat/cold other than the air outside, it told me it was below freezing
Easy to use October 30, 2008 This Thermometer is easy to use and easy to clean being waterproof. It is super for those thin pieces of food like Hambergers. Making sure the food I fix for my family is cooked safely is important and this Taylor Commercial Thermometer does the job.
Great Buy October 6, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The thermometers were just what we needed for our work. Much cheaper than I could purchase anywhere else.
