Corningware's French White bakeware combines the functionality of classic designs with contemporary styling, and this eight-piece set includes everything you'll need to crank out a great meal. The set includes two pairs of 2-1/2- and 1-1/2-quart baking dishes, in both round and oval shapes ideal for pastas, casseroles, or meats. Each dish includes an accompanying glass lid with an easy-to-grasp handle (but as with all Corningware and other ceramic or glass bakeware, you'll always need to use potholders when handling the dish or its lid). The dishes themselves have no handles; however, their impressive 10-year warranty (one year on the glass lid) more than compensates for this shortcoming. --Ariel Meadow Stallings

I got a set for Christmas two years ago.I use them frequently, they clean up nice, and look elegant on the table.

I don't have the round ones, but I have the 2.5 and 1.5 oval ones. Ok, they're corningware, so you'll know they work great, but if I was buying them again, I'd find ones with handles. When you have 2.5 quarts of casserole, that's a heavy dish. Now try to pick it up out of the oven when it has no handles! It's difficult and awkward. On the other hand, they do look great sitting on the table.
