A gracefully curved hook suspends bananas in the air to prevent bruises and soft spots, while below, the open design of the fruit storage section lets air circulate around apples, oranges, pears, etc. , to prolong freshness. 5 out of 5 stars stylish and functional   December 24, 2008
This banana tree does what it's supposed to do and looks good doing it! I like the addition of the fruit bowl so you can display all of your fruits and know exactly what's there.

The bowl holds a good number of fruits (you can see in the picture I have about 7 or so apples) and could probably add more. Before, I had my bananas resting on the countertops, but now it can hang and not get banged and bruised.

5 out of 5 stars Attractive and functional   October 12, 2008
We tend to buy a lot of bananas, but the bowl never falls over just because it's top-heavy. This bowl turns fruit into tasty decorations for your kitchen.

5 out of 5 stars Affordable and Fresh Fruit!   September 24, 2008
I had the hardest time finding a decent fruit bowl until I saw this one. It is much larger that it appears in the picture. I can easily fit 10 apples in the bottom with Bananas hanging on the hook.. plus they all stay fresh. In fact, my brother saw it and asked where I got it. Now, I am ordering one for him. I haven't been able to find anything close to this in any store. If you have ever been frustrated that the fruit you buy wasn't lasting, try this product because it really extends the life of fruit. Enjoy.

4 out of 5 stars stylish and very useful   September 22, 2008
I love this fruit bowl it makes me want to buy fruit just so there is something in it. The only semi-negative thing is if you have a bunch of banana's and nothing in the bowl, it will tip over because the banana's are too heavy but just adding an orange or something of that size fixes the problem. Overall though it's great and I'm glad I bought it.

5 out of 5 stars Fruit anyone?   June 3, 2008
Good day! This is a great fruit basket. I received this really quickly and it is huge compared to the size I pictured in my mind. You can easily fit about 10 apples in the bottom, good sized, and still have room for the bananas to hang. It also helps to keep fresh fruit. I have apples that have been in there for a week or two that are just as fresh as when I brought them home. Even if you have to pay shipping, trust me, this product is worth every cent!
