Don't waste your money November 18, 2008
Although these hot pads/pot holders look attractive on a computer monitor, and the prints (different on each side) are nice (though not nearly as intensely saturated as they appear on the Web) they are close to useless for protection from hot objects. They consist of two pieces of cotton fabric quilted together with minimal batting in between the layers. There is obviously no thermal or insulating layer at all. There isn't even a little loop for hanging them as decorative objects. Decor is about all they're safely good for. To add insult to injury, shipping costs a good 30% of the total but all three together weigh only a few ounces.
My strongest advice is to keep looking and DO NOT RELY on these to protect you from hot objects.
