Product Description MIU France 2-piece red silicone potholders, item # 99094. These silicone pot holders are a great kitchen accessory. They are great for removing hot pots from the stovetop or baking trays from the oven. It can also be used as a trivet to protect countertops from the heat of hot pots. The silicone is heat resistant up to 650?F. These potholders are dishwasher safe. Each potholder is 7-inches by 7-inches.

MIU Silicone Pot Holders December 24, 2008 Xmas present because I have three of them and love them. I would not use any other brand. They are the best as long as one keeps their figures or thumb off the holes when using the oven. They work as well as Hot Pads, too.
You'll still need a set of old-fashioned potholders, but these are very handy to have August 17, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These are very good for larger pots and pans, not so much for things you might need more dexterity for (say, holding a metal spoon, adjusting a folding roasting rack, or picking up a pot lid by it's knob.) They're about the thickness and have about the same flexibility as a weekly magazine. I've found that placing my thumb against the 'hang-up hole' provides a bit more gripping control. I recommend having a conventional (thinner) pair of potholders at hand as well.
I really do like these, though - great for dealing with large pans, and best of all they clean very easily and don't absorb water (ever take a pan out of the oven with a potholder that's been sitting on a damp part of the kitchen counter? Ouch!)
I wish my silicone cake pans were as thick as these, and that these were as 'flexible' as my wiggly cake pans...
thinner than before July 2, 2008 I first bought these great silicone pot holders, four years ago... I reordered three times for gifts and noticed that the thickness diminished and the price went up. They still are reasonably functional, but there is a definite loss of quality. Throw your conventional, material potholders away.
red silicone trivets/potholders June 5, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This product is nice and flexible. Perfect for taking things out the oven, holding the side of the pot when cooking, and keeping hot plates on top of. The button-type texture allows for a firmer grip when transporting hot plates, pots, and pans. I think the hole that is suppose to be used to hang the trivets on is a good idea, it is in a corner and i guess can allow for burns but you just need to be careful and make sure that part is away from the hot items. This a great alternatives to the silicone gloved potholders because i find those to be more stiff and bulky, making it akward to handle hot items with.
I LOVE THESE!! September 3, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO USING THOSE CLOTH POT HOLDERS AGAIN. THESE ARE THE BEST, THEY WIPE CLEAN AND CAN ALSO BE THROWN IN THE DISHWASHER.
