i could not beleave how difficult it was to find oval placemats. with amazon it was so simple. good product at a good price

These are nice heavy mats. Unlike the other reviews, I decided to wash these before reviewing. They wash well and come clean, however, you absolutely must iron them and when you do, the edges do not lay flat anymore. They actually still look ok, the edges just look a little ruffled which doesn't bother me that much.

These placemats are really great. I was skeptical when I ordered them. I was worried that the fabric might not be that nice, but when I got them I was surprised at how elegant they look and feel. They have a nice weight to them and I got them in the natural color which looks good. It is also nice to know they are made in the USA. I haven't washed them yet so I don't know how they will hold up but so far I am very pleased with my purchase. I am planning to purchase another set in a different color. I have received a lot of complements on the mats as well.

This placemat shows quality workmanship and helps to make a beautiful tablescape. I have used the ruby placemats and napkins on a pebble linen table cloth. The contrast makes for an interesting combination.

My placemats arrived quickly and I was very impressed with the quality. Won't be completely impressed until I launder them but so far, so good.
