1 out of 5 stars SAVE YOUR MONEY   November 8, 2008

I initially purchased this oven because it not only looked good, but could cook a frozen pizza. The first one only worked less than a month before it had to be exchanged. Now the 2nd one quit working--has a short inside--keep banging it a couple of times until it finishes cooking. Worse toaster oven I had ever purchased. It is not dependable. Very disappointed. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DON'T BUY THIS ITEM.

1 out of 5 stars It's headed for the Goodwill!   November 6, 2008

My primary reason for buying this was to make toast. It holds two slices and cooks the bread only on the right side, so if you want it cooked evenly you have to rotate the bread half way through cooking. Also, if you want to cook another item right after you have just used it the heating elements wont come on. I'm guessing it must be some kind of safety feature that it has to completely cool down before you can use it again.
I have broiled Costco frozen egg rolls in it and it worked great. All in all I would say that if you're just useing it to reheat food it would work fine, but as for me I'm on to the next toaster oven.

1 out of 5 stars Fire Hazard - caught fire under three minutes.   November 2, 2008

My taco and tortilla chips caught fire after a few minutes in oven. Very dangerous product needs to be recalled. Wattage much too high and had problems with it burning toast from first usage. STAY AWAY FROM THIS TOASTER!

5 out of 5 stars Does a fine job   October 21, 2008

I was pretty frightened to try this toaster, but I had one several years ago and after trying a much more expensive model that took at least 10 minutes to toast bread, I decided to try it, despite all the bad reviews. And for $40, what more do you want? The oven does indeed turn off when the bell rings and can toast frozen bread in about 5 minutes, slower than a regular toaster, but much faster than the high end countertop oven that I tried. I waited about a month to write this review, because I was expecting to see flames coming from the unit, but so far it's been fine. I've used this to reheat pork chops and steak and it has worked quite well and I really like the hooks that pull the rack out about an inch when the door is opened.

5 out of 5 stars Love this little toaster oven   October 5, 2008

I can see that I'm the only one here so far that has NO problem with this toaster oven.Wow
Can I be that lucky!!

I just bought this at Lowes for $29.99.
Everything toasted perfectly even, and I have to say , I was surprised it worked that good. The Bell went off with a Ding at the end of toasting, and the toaster turned off.
I gave this a trial run, and I made english muffens, Garlic bread, and those tasty round breads from Costco. Everything toasted very even.

I had this toaster years ago, and never had a problem with it either.I don't know what happened to it though!
This is actually nice looking.
Not as big as other toaster ovens.(I wanted a small one) I did like that when you open the door the rack comes out a bit.

To get the bread out, I just put a plate under the rack and take a fork and move it onto the plate, Or use tongs.
Not a big deal. Don't put your fingers inside it's HOT. Duh.

I only bought this to make garlic bread for a couple of people, so I would not have to turn my oven Broiler on.

I have a $400.00 hand made English Rowlett profesional toaster for 4 pieces of bread. It looks great, but I have to say, I think this toasted just as even!
This toaster oven does take longer to toast.

I won't leave this sitting on my counter. I don't like allot stuff like this sitting out, and I don't plan on using it very oven.
But its not bad looking..It looks like stainless.

So far I cannot complain.
If something happens with this, I will be back to review it again.
