quit working after two times January 25, 2007

I purchased this item on Dec. 25th. and while using it for the second time the digital control quit working causing it to receive no power to the fryer. I am in the process of returning it to Target today. We had a 3.5 qt. fryer that we used for three years before it quit working.So we were totally surprised when it quit working during the second time of use
