 Great storage idea January 8, 2009
I almost declined to buy this item because Kitchen Aid describes this rack for older models, nothing said about being compatible with the new 9 & 12 cup models. I contacted Kitchen Aid about an alternative. They checked and said it would work with the newer models. I took a chance and I am glad I did. It is perfect storage for the five blade set.
GREAT STORAGE ITEM May 9, 2008
I mounted this on my kitchen wall and it honestly serves it's purpose. No need to use cramped cabinet space. I enjoy having more blades, right at my fingertips.

I believe I would have liked this better if I had a deep drawer to install it into along with other blades which do not fit into this, spindle extra bowl, etc. I am using the simplest cheapest solution and have never mounted this. I have three bowls inside a drawer which organize the various shapes of blades ( some have two blades for my smaller bowl on the kitchenaide 9 cup)

this is a piece of plastic that is cut to fit the Kitchenaid food processor discs. So, it holds them perfectly, on the wall or in the cabinet.

The KitchenAid disc storage holder is a must have for any KitchenAid Food Processor owner! I have found that the KitchenAid storage holder is not only a cleaver means of storing the various discs but it is extremely sturdy as well. I have no trouble picking out which disc is which do to the holder being made of clear plastic. I only wish I had been the person to invent this helpful gadget. I think you will find this item to be a great addition to any kitchen!
