As Seen on TV, the BonVie 4-in-1 is an elegant 2-tone bamboo cutting board, designed with integrated tools and two sides for different purposes. It has a flat side for conventional cutting and serving. The other side is scalloped out for mincing and dicing. What appear to be handles at each end of the serving board are actually tools that pop and pull out. One handle is a stainless steel Ulu chopping and mincing knife and the other handle is a stainless grater. The Ulu knife is one of the most ergonomic cutting instruments available. Because the center of force is concentrated directly over the middle of the blade, it creates much more downward pressure than conventional cutlery. You can simply cut and chop with far less exertion, which is great for people with arthritis or a weak grip. I love the fact that the handles come out and you have an Ulu and a stainless grater (and what a value = Cutting Board + Ulu + Grater!!). I have found that this board is great for displaying a variety of cheeses at a party - and the Ulu/Grater combo is perfect for guests to slice/grate the different cheeses on their own - FUN ! I also I like the concept of bamboo (great durability & no trees have to be harvested.
