After 10 years of using Circulon, I finally had to give my set a "heave-ho" since the interiors were beginning to chip. Mind you, I used the pots and pans regularly. My mother-in-law (bless her), gave us a set of the Hoffritz as a house warming gift. Approximately a couple of weeks into using the set, I discovered the only two redeeming qualities of this product are the weight and comfort-grip handles. If you're accustomed to using non-stick and expect to receive the same cleanup with Hoffritz, you're sorely mistaken. The first time I made scrambled eggs, the eggs turned out just fine, but the pan was discolored after washing it later. Simply stated, the interior bottoms of the pots and pans appear dirty despite rigorous handwashings.

I had been seriously researching/comparing a modest set. I bought these non-Amazon for $100 ($80 with a coupon)and just used several pieces. I couldn't be happier! The set had all the features I wanted: dishwasher safe, vented glass lids, variety of pieces, easy to clean.
The pieces are impressively sturdy and HUGE! Unlike other reviewers, my set had no imperfections and did not stain. I overheated the skillet for scrambled eggs and it still cleaned up easily!

I wouldn't pay more than $85 for this set and I didn't! I love it and highly recommend this brand. The handles are great and the weight of the pans is very good. I was considering the Metro brand because of the price but so glad I got this set instead because I saw the Metro in Target and the quality is very cheap! Metro pans are so light they could easily get dented and dinged just be routine handling!

So far I have been impressed with this cookware set. I was looking for a nice stainless steel set for everyday cooking (I'm not a professional, "just" a mom of three little ones), and this certainly fits the bill. This set is replacing a mis-matched set of hand-me-downs and T-fal that accumulated in the cupboards. We are trying to get away from the non-stick cookware. I like that this set feels heavy compared to my current cookware, has nice heavy glass lids with vents, and has the soft touch handles on the pots and lids. I would recommend this set to anyone looking for nice, everyday stainless steel cookware.
 Godd buy but not excellent October 1, 2007
We had the cookware for a few weeks by now and we are happy with the quick heating of it. We like the handles that are not hot to touch as in other cookware. On the negative side: it's hard to clean as it leaves spots (like water marks)which can not be removed. The quality of this product is not high.
For the price we got it - it was a good buy.
