When my built-in oven stopped heating, and a professional was called in to repair it, he recommend that I purchase this particular thermometer as my oven gets a little hotter than the set temperature.
It works perfectly and there is a choice of either just setting it or hanging it in the oven. I chose to stand it up and it stays fine.
I am very please with this product. It is reliable and a necessary help.

Good item to have in your kitchen if you don't trust your oven's temperature. The bracket moves enough for you to secure it on the oven's rack. The glass tends to become a little misty as time goes by and you use it a lot.

I thought my oven was off and I this thermometer confirmed it. Good quality. Falls down sometimes my oven rack size is a little different from the clip size.
