Customer Reviews:
A Simple Tool September 12, 2008 My wife loves this product! She hasn't cut her fingers since she started cutting bagels in half using this tool. I would recommend producing a higher tool so the bagel seats deeper, making the knife fit the into the slot easier.
Clever design September 5, 2008 I eat bagels at least 3 times a week and it gets tricky when trying to slice one. I went searching for a inexpensive solution and found it in the Bagel Miter. The bagels that I buy are large and fat and they fit fine in the miter.
Good looking /useful tool July 19, 2008 This bagel miter is a good quality bagel "gripper" and it looks good. It grips/holds the bagel in place so that it is easier to cut the bagel without the risk of the bagel slipping out of your hand and cutting yourself! I am really pleased with this product. We love bagels at our home so we buy about 24 fresh, hot bagels often and cut them ourselves, put them into seperate bags for storage and freeze them so that we can enjoy them whenever we want. This bagel cutter has been a very useful tool in our kitchen!
Elegant, but knife sticks at bottom of cut. May 6, 2007 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I like the look and feel of the wood bagel cutter; but,my knife gets caught in the groove at the bottom of the cut. I'll try another knife.
