I love this brush becuse of its material. The silicone is easy to work with and the stainless handles means it's diswasher safe. You don't get stray bristles in your food and it doen't come out of the dishwasher with a bad hair day like traditional bristles. The handle is full and rounded, so it feels good in your hand. It took me four tries before I got the right brush and I'm very happy with this purchase. I have both the basting and the pastry brushes.
