I own this tamper. It is so well made and absolutely beautiful. The highest quality in design and use. To me it is a masterpeice. This is a well thought out and beautifully made product in every way. It works well - it's ultimate effect on one's coffee will always be very subjuctive. Very pleased!

The much touted dome does not really affect the end product as much as it is touted to. Have been brewing coffee professionally for over 11 years. You do not need this to make a better cup of coffee. Spend the money on a better bean.

I've used this item several times and it simply is too short(my knuckles would hit the filter basket), and the exposed end doesn't fit in your hands very well.
