Product Description Part of the La Forme series, this cake pan will be a great addition to your bakeware collection. The non-stick coating allows for quick and easy release of all baked goods and easy cleanup. The dark color absorbs more heat, quickly browning your pastry item to perfection. The magnum coating protects the cake pan from scratches whenever you're cutting inside it. This quality cake pan comes at a reasonable price. Great for cheesecakes, round cakes, and many other recipes!
Amazon.com Review With convenient handles neatly balanced on either end, this top-of-the-line Kaiser La Forme square cake pan from Germany brings an end to smashing the edges of a cake or getting potholders covered with food when pulling a pan out of the oven. Made of premium, heavyweight steel, this 8-by-8-inch pan evenly distributes heat for consistent results; it won't warp or buckle under high heat, and the two-ply nonstick coating makes for easy food release. An added feature: the coating is so smooth you don't need to flour the interior--just a light coating of shortening will ensure that cakes pop out easily in one piece. The resilient finish also allows you to cut on the surface without fear of damage, and cleanup is as easy as the wipe of a sponge. --Marianne Painter

Price is key!!!!!!! April 20, 2008 I also got a bunch of them on sale for 99 cents each like the previous reviewer and for that price I thought they were well worth it. They are fairly thin, but I have to admit they are no thinner than any other low cost cake pan and they are actually a lot better than I expected for the price. The coating is actually fairly strong as I scraped one with a stainless spatula just to test it and it did hold up pretty well. For a buck or two, great buy, anything more than that, look elsewhere.
It couldn't be any worse April 19, 2007 11 out of 13 found this review helpful
I bought 7 of these pans back when they had a huge sale. These are in no way commercial weight steel. They are thin and very flimsy. The nonstick coating also appears very thin, like it would scratch off very easily. The sides of all the pans are uneven and dented. You can get much better quality, cheaper.
